Automation and logistics priorities. After the SmartWarehouse conference

The 5. SmartWarehouse conference during the MODERNLOG logistics fair met extremely high interest. We were there too. Our expert, Marcin Łapiński, also took part in a panel discussion on current challenges facing the industry.

A key event for the logistics industry

MODERNLOG expo is a prestigious and important event for the entire logistics and transport industry in Poland. The latest edition featured solutions in the fields of automation, data digitisation and logistics process management and optimisation. It was an excellent opportunity to establish new business contacts with the leaders of the industry.

This year’s conference programme focused on future technologies and included four different panels: Robots and Future Technologies; E-commerce Fulfilment; Digitisation and loT – Supporting Warehouse Processes; and Smart Warehouses – Automation and Transformation.

Expert panel

On the second day of the event, which took place from 4 to 6 June, Marcin Łapiński, ILS Development Director and Chief Operating Officer of DANXILS, took part in an expert panel. In an extremely interesting discussion among practitioners, in which Piotr Sędziak, Marcin Albetzki, Slawomir Budzaj and Daniel Kusak also shared their experiences, topics such as warehouse automation, the hierarchy of priorities in logistics and levels of automation were discussed.

In his speeches, Marcin Łapiński emphasised the role of data organisation in the implementation of modern solutions and the adaptation of intralogistics technology to existing processes. He also shared practical tips and best practices for warehouse automation.

The discussion at MODERNLOG was extremely inspiring and the involvement of the participants shows how much interest there is in the subject of automation in logistics. The exchange of experiences between practitioners meant that we left the panel full of new ideas and solutions for the future‘, he said.

We would like to thank everyone who listened to the discussion and visited our stand. We look forward to seeing you at future events of this kind.
